Lorraine and Craig Curry have been making music in the Roaring Fork and Colorado River valleys for over 20 years. The Colorado Currys have played their blend of folk, swing, rock, bluegrass and Irish tunes with colorful harmonies at local stages, restaurants, Farmers’ Markets and fish fries. Multi-instrumentalists, Craig performs on Mandolin, Dobro and Guitar, Lorraine on bass and ‘cello. Audiences aged 8-80 have enjoyed the eclectic variety of music that the Colorado Currys have presented

Our Annual Heyday Parade celebrates the achievements and contributions of our community.

Entrants can bring their preferred showcase whether it's floats, livestock, a prized car, fire trucks, carriages, crafts, or just the happy faces of a particular community group.

We want to see the things our community has built and is proud to show off. We give cash prizes for qualifying float winners. 1st place wins $500, 2nd - $250, & 3rd, $150! Entering is FREE and all entries are welcome, though only qualifying entries will be considered for the prizes. Registration ends at 10:30 we will start at 11.  

This tournament is blind draw for partner and double elimination. There will be prizes for top three places.  Trophies will be given to the champions and the Six pack Steve trophy will be given to the individual with most six packs during the tournament.

Join the Rifle Recreation Department in this annual tournament

Register at the information tent. Closes at 2:30 tournament starts at 3:00

Bring a partner or find one there. This will be a double elimination tournament run by the Rifle Recreation team. Cash prizes for top three places and trophies for the champions. 

"High Desert Sky” is a high energy cover band that plays some of the best country and alternative rock music hit songs from the 90’s to today. We are a 5 piece band which includes both male and female lead singers, fiddle, lead guitar, bass guitar, and drums. Male lead vocalist, Sean Blumhardt, is an award winning vocalist and has been playing music all over Colorado for 10 years including with previous band “Latigo” and acoustically before forming the band High Desert Sky. The twins (Kevin and Ken) started their music journey in Seattle WA. It has taken them around the world and back again.  Kevin plays the lead guitar and Ken plays the bass guitar. Erika, fiddle and vocals, has experience in many bands and plays/sings high quality fiddle licks, lead vocals, and harmony vocals. On the Drums, Jack lays the beat down all night for everyone to dance and feel the energy of the music. We are based out of Grand Junction and look forward to performing at your venue as soon as possible.
